Training
Guiding has developed excellent training programs. All Guiders are given an Orientation upon registering, and are encouraged to start the Leadership Development Program as soon as possible.
We offer trainings that will benefit you personally, professionally, and as a Guider.
These include Safe Guide Trainings, First Aid Trainings, Camp Skills Trainings, and more.
Please watch the registration deadlines. These trainings will only be offered as long a minimum number of participants register.

Camp Arbuckle
Want to add a little MAGIC to your program? Join us at Camp Arbuckle for an enchanting weekend of music, dance, drama and crafts. This event is for ALL Guiders - all branches, all levels of experience. And you can car-pool with people attending the Presentation & Communication Skills training, same time, same place. This is an opportunity for you to magically gain some skills that will help you plan and present to adults in comfort. Monashee Area is offering a weekend of Presentation and Communication Skills that will cover the TEAM modules from the Trainer stream plus a few enrichment modules. This is especially relevant for Guiders who wish to improve their skills, whether you are a Unit Guider, Administrator or someone who may consider being a Trainer. Car pool with people attending the Arts Training!
