Daring Book for Girls Girl Guide Challenge
The Daring Book for Girls Girl Guide Challenge booklet teaches several new skills—from how to tie a sari and build a tool kit to distinguishing animal tracks while hiking trails. This booklet contains activities that will appeal to girls of all ages. Completing the challenge is about pursuing personal goals and gaining new experiences, all while having fun. Everyone who completes the challenge is eligible for the Daring Girl badge available in Guide stores across Canada.

Becky's (or Dragon's) Guiding Resource Centre is another huge website that collects various ideas for games, camping, songs, recipes, meetings, events, and other program ideas.
Girl Guides, Girl Greatness!
Girl Guides, Girl Greatness! is a contest running until February 24th where girls can win a $300 shopping spree and a Girl Guides prize pack that includes a mini-backpack, purse, a pen & notebook, a cookie keychain, poppy puppy plush toy, a t-shirt and of course, bracelets. Girls have to send a "Girl Greatness" statement to three gal pals and they could win!

Step Into Singing
Step Into Singing is a basic song list which fulfills two main purposes: to give new Guiders and new Units a starting place for learning Girl Guide songs, and to develope a common repertoire across Canada so that girls attending events will experience the feeling of sisterhood that results from being able to sing the same songs.

Guiding Songs...how they sound and where to find them is another website that provides music in mp3 format to assist Guiders in using various guide songbooks and other resource materials. Songs can be found in the alphabetical listing or by browsing through the catagories. No lyrics are provided on this page.

Get Knotted! Animated Knots for Scouts is a website that provides animated movement for making 15 popular knots. Each knot's page also includes information on how to use the knot, ways to remember how to tie the knot and tips to using the knot.
Wildlife Viewing in BC: Okanagan Region
Wildlife Viewing in BC: Okanagan Region is provided by the BC Provincial Government and it supplies a very useful downloadable pdf file on the various parks and wildlife in the South Okanagan an dSimilkameen area.
